4Should not have been Taj’ed...
Good: The staff were great at the reception
Location was good
Bad: Not good for the amount of money we paid
Breakfast was not good .. food didn’t seem very fresh.
Only 1 lift working so had to wait along time and ended up just walking up and down the stairs
No shampoo or conditioner in bathroom
TV didn’t work in room and was told no TV’s were working in hotel due to an upgrade .. didn’t make sense ??
Could hear the tube underneath our room all night
Place seemed abit run down. Not like previous Taj hotels I’ve stayed at

10Exceptional
Good: My friend and I stayed here for one night as we were running in the London Landmarks half marathon. We wanted somewhere close to the start/finish line, this hotel suited us perfectly, very close to a couple of tube stations and easy walking to lots of main attractions. The staff were very accommodating, as we wanted to leave our bags on the day of check out and collect them after the race, this was no problem, they let us use the spa facilities to shower and change too even after we had checked out, which was a lovely bonus.
The rooms are very comfortable, lovely beds, shower etc. Breakfast was lovely with lots of choice. We had a great stay, and would not hesitate to book again.
